Remember parties should be fun for everyone, that means the adults too. So make it easy on yourself, by preparing well in advance. When catering for larger groups of children at Christmas parties etc.,
remember you need approximately 1 adult to every 10 children. If the
helper stays with their group while playing games, eating food, etc.,
then discipline, and any other little problems that arise will be easily
controlled. When involved in parties on a bigger scale, you will certainly
need to consider using some type of amplification, that is if you wish
to have a voice left at the end of the party.
